Spider-Man – Superhero Party

Nico just turned six! The success of the unicorn party back in January meant that Nico wanted the same. We just had to switch the theme, obviously! He loves everything Marvel and wanted to go full blast into a Spider-Man party. His birthday as usual falls in the Easter holidays, which meant we had some exciting family visitors! As with Romi’s party we used the amazing team at www.mygreatestparty.com they did a fantastic job as always. I could not believe how different the room looked from the pastels and creams of the Unicorn party, to this incredible red and blue theme.

I adored that all the children arrived dressed up. We had Batman, Super-Girl, BatGirl, several Spidermen and my favourite was a bright red Ninja! This friend also gave Nico special children’s chopsticks as part of his present. He’s been practicing with them for nearly every meal. We played pass the parcel and musical statues.

Easter Egg Hunt

The highlight of this party was definitely the Easter Egg hunt. My dad made clues for all the children and set them off with little red Spider-Man bags. They were hidden all around the garden and a few in the house. It was so amazing to see the kids having such a fun time. We were lucky with the weather and it stayed dry for the whole afternoon.

Both the Spider-Man and Super-Girl outfits are the Rubie’s official costumes, I bought them from Amazon. Nico’s costume is medium and Romi is wearing size small. I think for the price both costumes are really good quality and they’ve had loads of wear out of them.

It’s really quite amazing and heartening how much today’s kids, even with so much technology and entertainment, still love the old games of solving clues, hide and seek, pass the parcel and musical statues. They love each other’s company.

Yes absolutely, they played for hours and hours together! Not once reached for an iPad which is definitely a win

Cute party! Love all the decorations and party treats. My oldest daughter had a super hero girl party for her 6th birthday. She was dressed as super girl. My second daughter was bat girl, and my youngest daughter was girl flash.
