Amrezy x ABH Highlighter
My make up routine however casual or high glam will always involve highlighter. I love my skin to have a radiant finish, even if I am not wearing much make up. The last blog post that I did was fashion related, yet nearly every comment included the love of my glow! Well I was infact wearing the new Amrezy highlighter for Anastasia Beverly Hills. The duo paired up again for the Valetine’s Day release of this blinding compact that may leave you needing sunglasses. I’ve only had this product for two weeks but it is already my favourite ever highlighter!
‘I live for the perfect glow. It’s a constant focus in my make up routine. I’m always looking for the most luminous glow with a natural, second skin finish. This collaboration with ABH brings my highlighter dreams to life, and I’m so happy to share this “sun in a compact” with my Rezy riders.’ – Amrezy
The highlighter is described light brilliant gold, super soft as well as universally flattering. It swatches just as smooth as the other ABH highlighters I own, and the colour so blinding. The packaging in its entirety is stunning, coming in a rectangle mirrored compact complete with a mystical wavy texture. Making you feel like you could be about to face plant into Maldivian golden sands! It is so buttery smooth and just sinks so well into the skin. I also like that its not glittery, but a radiant sheen.
Anastasia really has the golden ticket when it comes delivering a blinding highlighter. So many powder formulas go chalky and you can get a lot of fall out from the product. Long lasting and easy to apply, for that reason I think the product is well worth the money. For applying I use the A23 brush also from ABH, which compliments the highlighter beautifully. I wanted to compare swatches with my previous favourite, which is also by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Rivera has been in my make up bag for nearly two years from the ABH ‘Illuminator’ range. Its a gorgeous pale pink champagne with rose undertones, and a slight silver highlight. This highlighter although stunning on, I have found isn’t as diverse. On certain skin tones you can come out looking a little bruised. Not the look most want to go for! However like I said before this product can be applied extremely sheered out or just as intensely as the swatches.
If you have been thinking whether to buy the Amrezy highlighter however. Don’t think just do! It is the perfect shade for everyone from light to dark. I definitely think its worth the investment, all other ABH products I own really go the distance. If you want that kissed by an angel look and a naturally amazing aura then this product is for you.
